Healthy Working Wales

During the pandemic, Healthy Working Wales is focusing on activities to support prevention of COVID-19 transmission in workplaces, including development of guidance and keeping this web based one-stop-shop of information and resources up-to-date. The majority of our team are redeployed to support the Public Health Wales pandemic response so we have put the HWW awards programme on hold for now, although we are undertaking a status check process with employers requiring revalidation as a way of extending their award for a 12 month period. If you have any queries, or want to undertake a status check, please contact us on WorkplaceHealth@wales.nhs.uk. We are producing a monthly e-bulletin with news and highlighting latest COVID-19 guidance for employers which you can also sign up to receive by emailing us.

The Healthy Working Wales (HWW) programme is delivered by Public Health Wales on behalf of Welsh Government and works with employers to develop and sustain environments, policies and cultures that promote good health and support the appropriate and timely return to work of those who are absent from work due to sickness or who have fallen out of employment due to periods of ill health. Read more...
