Reliability in healthcare means providing high-quality care to the right patient, at the right time, in the right place, and with the right treatment. Reliable processes are essential for ensuring safety, effectiveness, efficiency, and reducing variability and waste. By the end of this course, you will have the skills and knowledge to create more reliable processes and deliver better care to your patients and staff.

This course covers the following topics:

  • What is reliability in healthcare and why is it important?

  • How to measure reliability in your processes and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement

  • How to prevent and mitigate unreliable processes using human factors principles and strategies

  • How to develop and implement a reliable process
