This publication contains interim data and documents on the chosen indicators for the ten Our Healthy Future (OHF) priority outcomes. The Public Health Wales Observatory has worked with others in the selection and proposal of high level indicators to monitor progress against the priorities for Our Healthy Future:
This first release includes interim data for 10 indicators whilst the indicator for ‘Improving health in the workplace’ is yet to be finalised. The next update is due in the summer and will include both revised data following the expected population data revisions and newly available data.
This publication consists of:
An interactive data file which contains the data and charts for all agreed indicators and an overview table. Macros need to be enabled for the above version and for some PC setups the data file saved locally. An Office 2003 version of the interactive data file (.xls for Office 2003, 0.9MB) has also been developed for use without macros. (For this first release using macros we are keen to have feedback on their use on different PC setups)
An exploration of selected indicator data, available in both Word format (.docx, 1MB) and PDF format (.pdf, 1MB), provides further details on some of the indicators for Wales as a whole
A summary of charts for the indicators comparing health boards and local authorities in PowerPoint format (.ppt, 0.9MB)
A technical guide (.pdf, 0.7MB) provides details of the definitions of the chosen indicators, data sources used and caveats, as well as guidance on interpretation
A summary document (.docx, 0.7MB) describing the process and the indicators identified
