We have five Board Committees:
In March 2020, the Board agreed to suspend the People and Organisational Development Committee and the Knowledge, Research and Information Committee for the foreseeable future, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Audit and Corporate Governance Committee and the Quality, Safety and Improvement Committees will continue to operate virtually.
The Standard Terms of Reference and Operating Arrangements for all Committees of the Board includes content common to all committees and should be read alongside the specific terms of reference for each committee. View / download the Standard Terms of Reference and Operating Arrangements for all Committees of the Board.
The Board’s Audit and Corporate Governance Committee advises and assures the Board and Accountable Officer on whether effective arrangements are in place to support them in their decision making and in discharging their accountabilities for securing the achievement of Public Health Wales’ objectives, in accordance with the standards of good governance determined for the NHS in Wales.
