What does the bowel screening test look for? 

The bowel screening test kit does not tell you if you have bowel cancer. 

The test looks for hidden blood in your poo which can be a sign of bowel cancer or other changes. 

The results will tell you if you need further tests.  
 

Preparing to do your bowel screening test  

Before doing your test: 

• Read the information we sent you 
• Watch this short video that will show you how to complete the test 
• Follow the step-by-step instructions 
• Contact us if you have any questions about completing the test 

If you are supporting someone to complete the bowel screening test kit you should only do this if they have agreed you can do this. 

How to order a new test kit? 

If you have lost or damaged your test kit you can order a new one by:
