Over 10 percent of deaths in Wales due to smoking

New analysis from Public Health Wales shows that were an average of 3,845 deaths in Wales in 2022 were due to smoking in Wales every year between 2020 and 2022: more than one in ten of all deaths amongst those over 35.  

Physical activity up among secondary school pupils in Wales, but data also reveal increase in bullying

Physical activity among secondary school pupils in Wales has increased, reversing a decline that started in 2017.  It is now comparable to pre-pandemic levels, according to new data on pupils in Wales from the results of the Schools Health Research Network (SHRN) health and well-being survey released today.

Bowel Screening Age Lowered to 50 in Wales
