Are you interested in helping colleagues in managing working relationships, by becoming a Facilitator or Resolution Champion?
We recently provided an intranet update about Healthier Working Relationships, our new approach to conflict resolution within the workplace.
Whilst the approach includes the development of a new Respect and Resolution Policy (which will replace the existing Grievance and Dignity at Work Policies), most of the change requires us to think and behave differently, encouraging us to deal with issues as soon as possible, taking action ourselves wherever we can, without the need to resort to formal process.
We understand that we might sometimes need other people to help us have a difficult conversation, so we have been working in close partnership with Trade Union colleagues to develop:

It’s important to say that these networks are not intended to replace advice and support from either a TU representative or member of the HR Advisory Team. Rather, they provide additional options for colleagues in resolving issues informally.
We are looking for five people for each network and anyone with the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience can apply; we want to create networks that reflect the diverse nature of our organisation.
