Description: FluTwo is a clinical update on flu and flu vaccination and has been updated for the 2023-24 season. This version of FluTwo is based on current guidance as of 15.08.2023. In response to feedback from service users, FluTwo has been modified to best meet the needs of users and now consists of four modules:

Module1: Introduction to flu and flu vaccination

Module 2: This is an external UKHSA module, based on the National Minimum Standards for Immunisation training – only to be completed by new immunisers

Module 3: Adults flu module

Module 4: Children's flu module

Not everyone will need to complete all four modules. This will depend on your previous experience and area of work.

Suitable for: FluTwo is suitable for healthcare professionals, including Health Care Support Workers who immunise against flu or provide flu immunisation advice.

Duration: Modules 1,3,4 combined – 90 minutes. Module 2 (to be completed by new immunisers) may take up to 10 hours.

Staff who don’t have access to ESR or work outside of NHS Wales will need a username and password to access the Learning@Wales website. Learning@Wales Enrolment keys: Click on the course name and you will be prompted for an enrolment key. The enrolment key for GP practices is your practice W code followed by ! e.g. W12345! For other users, if you are unsure of your key please contact the Helpdesk on eAteb@wales.nhs.uk.
