I am a health or social care worker and have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine. I have been identified as a close contact of a case. Do I need to self isolate?

Yes. Although you have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, you must still isolate as instructed if you have been identified as a close contact of a confirmed case, or if you are a household contact of someone who has COVID-19 symptoms.

Although the vaccination is effective, no vaccine is 100% effective, and you must still comply with the isolation advice. (31/12/20)
