Best Mental Health Initiative: SME

This commendation recognises workplaces with less than 250 employees who have implemented an exceptional strategy to strengthen mental health in the workplace during the Covid-19 pandemic. Entries could consider:

  • How strategies are implemented from top to bottom at all employee levels.
  • Successfully addressing stigma around mental health with senior buy-in and resulting in company-wide cultural change.
  • Delivery of any mental health campaigns or initiatives that have been implemented for either (a) a specific group of employees; or (b) to solve a particular workplace challenge, for example addressing working from home, furlough, men and mental health, addiction at work, menopause in the workplace, stress in the workplace.
  • Delivery of measurable improvements and success.

Entrants should demonstrate how a smaller organisation, which may not have in-house wellbeing expertise, has used resources successfully to improve staff mental wellbeing or integrate mental health into wider wellbeing strategies.
