This conference is being hosted in Wrexham at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.

After a four-year break, the Vaccine Preventable Disease Programme would like to invite you to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Welsh Immunisation Conference.

For 2023 we are planning an exciting and interesting programme which will look at a wide range of vaccine programmes.

Poster presentations

Posters are an important part of the Welsh Immunisation Conference helping to share immunisation initiatives and good practice from across Wales.

E-Posters to be in jpeg format to enable playing on a loop on television screens at the conference. E-posters can highlight any aspect of immunisation, including local initiatives to improve vaccination uptake.

Vaccination Saves Lives Awards

The Vaccination Saves Lives Awards are a new, fantastic opportunity to recognise, reward and celebrate some of the hard work and dedication that has gone into immunisation programme(s) in Wales, and nominations are now open.

These new, national awards are open to teams and individuals who work on any aspect of immunisation in Wales. The nomination forms are below.

There are several VSL award categories to choose from and you can nominate yourself or someone else (individual, team, or organisation). The nomination forms are simple to complete, so please take a look. You can nominate to as many as you wish.

Nominations will close on 19th March 2023.

The winners will receive their awards at the Welsh Immunisation Conference on 26 April 2023.

To register your place click on the Form link below. Registration will close on Friday 31st March 2023 

 The conference fee is £20 which includes refreshments and lunch. Payment can be made by BACs payment or cheque, further information is available when registering your place.  

Unfortunately we cannot accept cash payments or take payment on the day.
