Women with a learning disability are encouraged to be screened on the mobile units as these are more accessible and usually closer to where the woman lives.
Pre visits on the mobile unit are not available due to the number of women being screened during the clinic. However, should a woman with a learning disability want to familiarise herself with the equipment, staff and surroundings prior to being screened, special appointment arrangements can be made for women with learning difficulties.
