If you choose to attend for screening, your abdominal aorta is scanned from the lower end of your breast bone to your umbilicus (belly button). If your binder is above this or can be lifted slightly the binder will not need to be removed. However if you are wearing a full binder you may need to partially removed this so we can complete the ultrasound scan.
