Intervention:
Three studies (one good, two poor quality) were identified on workplace behaviour change initiatives to increase active travel. Intervention durations ranged from ten weeks to six months and included differing components, such as: the distribution of active travel-related promotional and educational materials, SMS and email prompting, and training of ‘Walk to Work’ promoters.
Evidence quality:
Both the results and the quality of the included studies were mixed.
Generalisability:
The findings are from interventions undertaken in the UK and are likely generalisable to the Welsh context.
If proceeding with this intervention:
It is suggested further robust research and evaluation be undertaken.
