Key Messages

A series of technical reports, one for each of the seven Health Boards in Wales, have been published by the Public Health Wales Observatory. These reports have been produced to support local partnerships in developing their Health, Social Care and Wellbeing (HSCWB) health needs assessment 2010.

The reports focus specifically on sub-local authority level analysis at the middle super output area (MSOA) level. MSOA is a statistical geography created by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Local authority level indicators

Additional analysis is available at the local authority level for each of the key indicators included in the original reports. The key indicators analysed include: births, hospital admissions, deaths, and population. This information is available in two formats:
