Safe and Effective Ambulatory Care
Improvement projects being delivered with the support of the Safe and Effective Ambulatory Care workstream focus on keeping people safe in the ambulatory care environment, preventing hospital admission, and treating acute care needs in the most appropriate settings.
Activity in the workstream may include implementation of or improvements to virtual wards, providing hospital services in patients’ homes, or initiatives to avoid admission to hospital.
