If it is possible, I would like this information to be broken down by NHS Trust and given as a total for the NHS Wales, across a 5 year period, up until 31st March 2023. If it is not possible to retrieve the data in this exact format, then please share what is available and detail of the timeframes.
Thank you for your recent request dated 4th April 2023. I’m afraid that we do not have ready access to all of the information that you require in one system or place and accordingly I have estimated that it would take in excess of 20 hours of staff time to confirm that we held the data requested. The Act allows for me to refuse a request on the grounds that the cost of compliance would exceed the cost limit as laid down by the Secretary of State (which currently equates to 18 hours of work). As a result, this request is refused in line with Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and this serves as a formal refusal notice. If you would like to reconsider your request and possibly narrow it down to make it less onerous for my organisation it may well be that we can assist you with your request. Please note that as per our acknowledgment email, this response is on behalf of Public Health Wales NHS Trust as we do not hold this data for all of NHS Wales. For detail on the Health Board costs you will need to contact each Health Board individually. I have provided contact details for each Health Board below.
