FOI 2023 23 - Cervical Screening Tests


Information Requested:

I wish to know what percentage of the routine cervical screening tests are conducted by men.

Thank you for your recent request dated 12th February 2023.

Public Health Wales commission the cervical screening service but we do not hold the gender of smear takers.  You would need to contact each Health Board in Wales who may be able to help you.  Contact details are provided below:

 Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board

Swansea Bay University Health Board

Hywel Dda University Health Board

Powys Teaching Health Board
