FOI 2023 137 - Delayed Transfers of Care

Information Requested:

I’ve been reading the Delivery Unit’s latest release on delayed transfers of care, which is really clear and informative (see attached). I understand you respond to requests for information on behalf of delivery unit.

Please could I request under the FOI act a breakdown of the reasons for delayed transfers for:

  1. each local authority area
  2. each health board area

Please could you provide this for the months of April onwards, up to the most recent available data.

I’m looking for the detail behind the summary data in tab ‘1b’ in the attached spreadsheet.

For example:

And so on for the other 20 local authority areas.

Please could you also give a breakdown for ‘assessment issues’ figures in each spreadsheet. For example, if there was a delay for a social care assessment, or a physio/OT assessment, or any more detail as to what comes under this category.

Please provide the data in an excel spreadsheet format or .csv and not as a pdf or word document.

Please let me know if any of the above is unclear, if you require any clarification or need any further information from me in order to respond to the request.
