FOI 2023 101 - Prostate Cancer

Information Requested:

We would like to know the incidence, and crude incidence rates for prostate cancer by stage at diagnosis for specific age groups between 2015-2020. This is to explore changes in disease presentation by age group during the last few years and test if there's a correlation between age and stage at diagnosis.
I am aware you publish the total incidence by age group here:https://phw.nhs.wales/services-and-teams/welsh-cancer-intelligence-and-surveillance-unit-wcisu/cancer-incidence-in-wales-2002-2019/ - but we need the information broken down by stage at diagnosis. Would it be possible to provide the following information.

•    Total incidence (count), and crude incidence rate of stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, stage 4, and unstaged prostate cancer in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 for the following age groups:
o    45-49
o    50-54
o    55-59
o    60-64
o    65-69
o    70-74
o    75-79
o    80-84
o    85-89
o    90+
