Talk Day 2021 - celebrating the 4th year of this event

Published: 4 February 2020

Time to Talk Day is one of the biggest days on the mental health calendar and this year’s theme is the 'Power of Small' which relates to the fact that a small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference.

We’re encouraging everyone to have a conversation about their mental health.

We know that it benefits all of us to talk, and that developing and maintaining good mental health is of even more importance than usual.

By choosing to open up about our mental health, we can all be part of the movement towards ending the isolation and shame that too many of us feel when we’re in need of understanding and support.

We also recognise the hugely important part that self-care plays as an integral element of how we all do this.

In support of the day, we're delighted to publish our first ever podcast, The Listening Project, which features conversations between a variety of speakers from PHW.

They discuss their own experiences and the mental help tips that work for them, including making time for physical activity and learning how to self-care.

You can access the podcast here we hope you enjoy listening and maybe get some ideas on what you can do to develop your own self-care routines.

We’d love to hear the things that work for you so we can share your tips and maybe you can become involved in future episodes of The Listening Project.
