Optimising Vaccine Uptake: Using motivational interviewing for better conversations

Description

Health professionals and vaccinators have an important role in vaccine conversations and are reported by the public as trusted sources of vaccine information. The approach and style of a vaccine conversation can make a real difference in understanding individual hesitancy, addressing barriers, and influencing vaccine uptake.

Designed in collaboration with the Behavioural Science Unit, the Training and Guidance Team and the Vaccine Preventable Disease Programme, this module aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to implement motivational interviewing techniques when you are having vaccine-related conversations.
