Assessment appointments are carried out over the telephone, and this will not change. In a very few instances, people are asked to attend the hospital for an assessment. If you need to attend the hospital to be assessed every precaution will be made to ensure social distancing and infection prevention measures will be put in place. If you are able to tolerate it, you will be asked to wear a surgical face mask to protect yourself and the environment.
