It will take us some time to catch up and it may take us longer than usual to offer you further investigations at this time. We are working hard to make sure that everyone who is overdue their screening or surveillance colonoscopy is invited as quickly and safely as possible.
We need to prioritise people with the most urgent clinical needs. We will write to you asking you to contact us so that we can book you an appointment with a screening nurse in due course. We understand that this is an unsettling time and the delayed procedure may cause you some anxiety and we are working hard to ensure screening is reinstated as soon as it is safe to do so.
