This report examines the provision of key cardiac services in Wales. Rates of coronary angiography and revascularisation are examined in relation to need across Wales. Provision of services is considered by geographical area and level of socio-economic deprivation in Wales, using deaths and emergency hospital admissions from cardiac disease as a proxy for need.
