We are pleased to publish the Annual Equality report and Workforce Report for 2020 – 21.
The reports provide a summary of the equality, employment and monitoring information relating to our workforce, and details some of the good work undertaken to advance equality within our teams. There is still a lot do to in this area, and we recognise that continuing to improve is vital to the ongoing success of our organisation and the people that we serve.
Neil Lewis, Acting Director of People and Organisational Development said:
“These reports provide detailed information into what we are doing to promote equality, diversity and inclusion across the organisation and for the communities we serve. Creating an inclusive environment where everyone can be their best, and working in partnership with different organisations and communities is essential to our aim of identifying and tackling inequality.
We can see from the reports that we are doing many things well, and we have made excellent progress over recent years, but there is still more to do to make sure equality continues to become embedded into everything we do”.
