Diversity Networks

Diversity Networks

Public Health Wales actively supports the development of a diverse workforce where everyone can give of their best at work.

We have a number of established staff diversity networks that meet on a regular basis and provide valuable mutual support for members, along with advice and reassurance, and a safe space to meet colleagues facing similar issues.

The networks have support from our Employee Experience team, who help to provide training on diversity and inclusion for colleagues and managers, make sure policies recognise the full diversity of our workforce and work with our Comms team to raise awareness of important issues affecting different groups within the workplace and beyond.

Our workforce diversity networks are a very important part of our organisation, ensuring the needs and views of their members are taken into account when planning and shaping our organisation. By providing challenge, they ensure that all different groups within our workforce are heard and their contribution valued.

All networks welcome allies who can support the networks too!
