Information Requested:

Could you please confirm if there have been any confirmed cases of monkey pox in the Carmarthenshire area in the past 6 weeks?

To protect patient confidentiality we unable to provide any further breakdown at this time.  Providing the level of data requested may result in releasing sufficient information to enable individuals to be identified. This would be deemed to be unfair processing and would breach the first Data Protection Principle. 
Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides an exemption from the right to information if disclosure would contravene the data protection principles.
