Information Requested:

Can you please provide the number of individuals in Wales - who have acquired the following infections each year from 2012 - 2022? Can you also confirm whether they have been associated with rivers and/or reservoirs?
•    Giarda
•    Cryptosporidium
•    Leptospirosos
•    Cyclospora
•    Alga blooms
•    Hepatitis A
•    Shigella dysentry
•    E Coli 0157

For information on algal blooms the requester should contact the two water companies covering Wales (Welsh Water and Severn Trent Water).
Water exposure where indicated is not always further delineated or investigated especially where it may not be relevant to the primary exposure of the case.
