Public Health Wales NHS Trust (for the purpose of mass notification) have access to GOV.UK notify. The system allows the organisation to send emails, text messages and letters.
With specific regard to emergency planning software for Major Incidents, an Emergency Response Management module within the Tarian Case and Incident Management System is available to Public Health Wales staff.

The GOV.UK Notify service is provided by the Government Digital Service (part of the Cabinet Office)
The Tarian Case and Incident Management System is provided by Public Health Wales NHS Trust.
b. Please confirm the value of the initial project and value of annual support/maintenance services (in £)?
GOV.UK notify is a free service available to Central Government, Local Authorities and the NHS. Public Health Wales NHS Trust do not pay annual support or maintenance for the service. Costs for the use of the GOV.UK Notify system are available at https://www.notifications.service.gov.uk/ Since April 2020, Public Health Wales have incurred no financial costs for use of this system.
The Emergency Management Module within the Tarian Case and Incident Management System is supported and developed by Public Health Wales NHS Trust, for which there is no financial cost.
c. When is the contract renewal date?
GOV.UK Notify is not a contracted service.
The Tarian Case and Incident Management System is supported and developed by Public Health Wales NHS Trust. Contract renewal date therefore not applicable.
2. Who is the EPRR manager within the Trust?
Public Health Wales NHS Trust Head of Preparedness and Response position is currently vacant. Appointment to commence on the 27th June 2022.
3. Who is the Emergency Accountable Office within the Trust?
Public Health Wales NHS Trust nominated Executive level lead for civil contingency/emergency planning arrangements is Dr Fu Meng Khaw, National Director of Health Protection and Screening Services. Executive Medical Director.
