I’m looking to access the following information about the amount of healthcare options in your area. Please could you provide me with the following information for NHS Wales?
1. How many hospitals are in your area? (NHS and private)
2. How many hospitals with A&E units are in your area?
3. How many minor injury units are in your area? (NHS and private)
4. How many GP/doctors surgeries are in your area? (NHS and private)
5. How many health clinics are in your area? (NHS and private)
6. How many high-street pharmacies are in your area (including pharmacies located inside of other high-street stores)

Public Health Wales do not hold this data, it is important to note that Public Health Wales is the public health service for Wales and as such is an independent NHS Trust. This is NOT the same as NHS Wales. As an organisation we have no jurisdiction over the activities of Health Boards and frequently do not have access to the data that they produce and hospitals are a provision of the Health Boards.
