FOI 2025 104 - COVID Vaccination Uptake

Information Requested:

Please provide me with the following information which I presume is stored and classified according to each of the seven health boards?
I am asking for this data presented either as a whole or yearly from 2019-2024.
Total Covid vaccination uptake as a percentage of the population, specifying the percentage/s as first time vaccines and subsequent ‘boosters’.
The number of excess deaths for each of the health boards. The definition of ‘excess deaths’ is a reference to the number of deaths that occur above (or below) what would be expected under normal circumstances.

Information provided for the answer:

Thank you for your recent request.

Please find below the information requested for total vaccination uptake that is held by Public Health Wales.

- Dec 2022 - Mar 2022

Please note this information is from 8th December 2020 – 28th February 2025, as this is when COVID-19 vaccines were administered to the majority of the population as a primary course (first and second dose) and a booster dose.
