How much has Public Health Wales spent on digital advertising vans at or in close proximity to Wrexham AFC’s Racecourse Ground during 2023 and 2024 to date?

How much has Public Health Wales spent on digital advertising vans at or in close proximity to Wrexham AFC’s Racecourse Ground during 2023 and 2024 to date? 

  

£4,750 was spent on digital advertising vans close to the Racecourse ground in Wrexham for the period requested. 

 

 

How many times were they present? What campaign was promoted and on how many occasions? 

  

  • The advertising vans were present on five occasions. On each occasion they displayed ads to promote handwashing as a way to prevent common illnesses. 

 

 

Please provide any further information/rationale on the reasons for targeting this audience. 

 

  • This was part of a national, mass media, whole population campaign. Digital advertising vans placed in high footfall locations are an effective means of reaching a large number of people with a clear message.
