FOI 2024 097 - GP practices and patent sizes

Information Requested:

Please may I request a list of all GP Practices and their respective Clusters in all Welsh Healthboards, with up to date patient list sizes

I have found this online, but don't know which practices are in each cluster: https://scanmail.trustwave.com/?c=261&d=konG5gjg7V4_KMUn1kiKlIXVxfqAraRqv7NvzxNvGg&u=https%3a%2f%2fstatswales%2egov%2ewales%2fCatalogue%2fHealth-and-Social-Care%2fGeneral-Medical-Services%2fGeneral-practice-population%2fdeprivation-at-gpclusterlevel

Information provided for the answer:

Thank you for your recent request.

You can find this information though this link:

Cluster Area - Primary Care One (nhs.wales)

To find a list of the clusters you will need to click on the Health Board where it will take you to a page with the clusters listed on the right-hand side of the page. Or by clicking on “Find a Cluster” you can select a Health Board on the top of the Search bar where you can find an individual cluster in the drop-down list, select the one you want and click on “Click to open a cluster” link.

For the patient list sizes you can find these by year by clicking on the Health Board, then clicking on a cluster listed on the right-hand side of the page. From there the information should be in the “individual cluster plans and reports” section. However for up to date patient list sizes you will need to contact the individual Health Boards as Public Health Wales do not hold this information.  As Public Health Wales is the public health service for Wales, it  is an independent NHS Trust.  As an organisation we have no jurisdiction over the activities of Health Boards and other NHS Wales organisations. This means we do not routinely have access to the data they produce.  I have provided contact details for all the Health Boards below, you would need to contact them individually for the information they hold.
