I request from you, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:
Details (i.e. the name and date of death of the deceased) of all inquests in relation to which NHS Wales has been sent a report under regulation 28 of the Coroners (Investigations) Regulations 2013 (whether it was a named recipient, or just copied) in which the issue of gender-affirming care was mentioned, since 15 April 2020.
Thank you for your recent request.
Please note this information is for Public Health Wales (PHW) only.
PHW is the public health service for Wales and as such is an independent NHS Trust. As an organisation we have no jurisdiction over the activities of Health Boards and other NHS Wales organisations. This means we do not routinely have access to the data they produce.
From our incident management database we use and the data we hold, I can confirm that Public Health Wales has not received a regulation 28 of the coroners (Investigations) Regulations 2013 (whether it was a named recipient, or just copied) in which the issue of gender-affirming care was mentioned, since 15 April 2020.
I have provided contact details for all the Health Boards below, you would need to contact them individually for any information they may hold.
