I am writing to submit a formal request under the Freedom of Information Act regarding the expenditure incurred by Public Health Wales in support of trade union activity over the past 6 years.
Specifically, I would like to request the following information:
1. The total amount of money spent by Public Health Wales on supporting the work release of trade union representatives from 31st March 2018 to 31st March 2024.
2. Total amount spent on other activities that support trade union activity.
2. A breakdown of this expenditure per directorate within Public Health Wales.
3. A breakdown of this expenditure attributed to each recognised union.
4. Details of the arrangements in place and the benefits to the organisation from the public spend.
5. Explanatory note if data was to show inequity in proportioning of support for any particular union.
