We have heard (through an external data supplier) that there may be roughly 160 ‘Branch Surgeries’ in Wales, which are essentially ‘secondary’ locations for Practices. This information does not appear to be on the NHS Wales website, or there is no flag in the current set of released datasets to indicate which Surgeries may be Branches of other Practices.
Would it be possible to request a list of all active Branch Surgeries in Wales, with a unique identifier, address and open date, along with a reference (Practice Code) to the ‘Main’ Practice they are linked to?
If possible, it would also be great to understand how many active GPs operate from the Branch Surgery as well, and how many operate from the Main Practice.
In terms of data format, we can work with anything, but Excel or CSV would be the preference.
