It is likely that climate change will bring increasingly frequent flooding events, severe heat waves and extreme weather events, as well as a rise in sea levels

When do we issue public health advice?
When the Met Office Wales forecasts extreme or abnormally hot or cold weather or flooding, Public Health Wales will consider issuing timely and proportionate advice.
Any public health advice issued will be shared across the NHS and Welsh Government.
