How is the WSAEMWB being measured for impact?

It takes time to measure change, so there are several methods being used to understand the impact of the WSAEMWB:

  • Monitoring how many schools are widely adopting the WSAEMWB.
  • Independent Evaluation: A three-year mixed-methods evaluation on the WSAEMWB framework, being carried out by Decipher which is part of Cardiff University.
  • Process Evaluations:  The purpose of these evaluations is to understand how schools have been embedding the WSAEMWB. Evaluation findings can be seen in the Learning Reports below:

    • Learning Report 1: How are schools embedding self-evaluation to understand the needs and strengths of their school community.
    • Learning Report 1 Poster
    • Learning Report 2: Planning and implementation of actions to protect and promote emotional and mental well-being in school communities.
