Interim leadership appointments for Public Health ServicesÂ
Changes to the Public Health Services Directorate
Dr Quentin Sandifer retires from Public Health Wales, as the Executive Director of Public Health Services and Executive Medical Director. His last working day is 27 November 2020.
Interim arrangements have been put in place whilst the organisation goes through a formal recruitment process for these positions.
Andrew Jones has been appointed to the position of Interim Executive Director of Public Health Services and Dr Eleri Davies has been appointed to the position of Interim Executive Medical Director.
Further to the above and following an expression of interest process, Dr Robin Howe has been appointed to the position of Interim Director of Integrated Health Protection.
Andrew will also become the lead Strategic Director for the organisations response to COVID-19 and they will all also continue in their roles as part of the organisation’s response to COVID-19.
These changes take effect from Tuesday 1 December 2020 and will continue until substantive appointments are made.
