Description:  This module provides key information about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and reflects current information about the HPV adolescent and Gay bisexual men who have sex with men (GBMSM) vaccination programmes in Wales. It covers information on eligibility, administration of the vaccine, recommended dosage and schedule, contraindications, precautions and potential adverse reactions. It raises awareness of the current epidemiology of HPV and also the impact of the HPV vaccination programme.  

Suitable for:  It is aimed at healthcare professionals who advise on and deliver the HPV vaccination in Wales.  

Registration: NHS Wales staff can access the module via ESR. For more guidance on how to access the course via ESR  click here.
