What happens if my baby has a hearing loss?

After all of your baby's tests have been done the Audiologist will explain the results to you and may give you one of these information leaflets:

 

The Audiologist will arrange for you to meet with one of the Specialist Doctors who support babies and families with a hearing loss.

The National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) can give you support and information, and has a helpline for parents whose children have a hearing loss. Their experienced advisors can help answer any questions you may have.
