From 2nd October 2023, Bowel Screening Wales is lowering the age people are invited for screening from 55 to 51. This change will be phased in across a 12 month period between October 2023 and September 2024.
Bowel Screening Wales aims to start inviting people aged from 50 from October 2024. This age expansion will be phased over 12 months, with all those aged from 50 invited for screening by the end of September 2025.
