The annual COVER report summarises surveillance from April 2024 to March 2025.

Surveillance of uptake and equality of routine childhood vaccinations in Wales is carried out by Public Health Wales Vaccine Preventable Disease Programme through the national COVER scheme in Wales (Coverage of Vaccination Evaluation Rapidly).

2024/25 report summary infographic: 

Infographic titled “Childhood Vaccinations in Wales Annual Report 2025,” showing uptake by age group. Coverage at age 1 and 2 is mostly 92%–96%, while at age 4 overall uptake is 85.3% with lower rates for the 4‑in‑1 and MMR2. HPV uptake for school years 9–11 declines slightly in recent years. By age 16, MMR remains high (over 92%), but teenage booster and MenACWY uptake are much lower at around 72%.
