Non-Executive Director, University

Catherine is a Reader in the School of Healthcare Sciences at Cardiff University, with a background in public health and a strong commitment to tackling the wider determinants of health. Her academic and leadership work is grounded in inclusive engagement, co-production and evidence-based policy, with a focus on improving population health and wellbeing.

Catherine has worked in higher education since 2012 and brings extensive experience in strategic insight, cross-sector and university collaboration and academic rigour to her role on the Board.

Catherine is passionate about ensuring that the voices of people and communities are central to shaping health and care systems in Wales.
