991 school year 1 children were examined from 91 state-maintained schools across Hywel Dda University Health Board.

1227 school year 1 children were examined from 95 state-maintained schools across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

422 children in school year 1 were examined from 32 state-maintained schools across Powys Teaching Health Board.

913 children were examined from 84 state-maintained schools across Cardiff & Vale University Health Board.

1,993 school year 1 children were examined from 165 state-maintained schools across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

1,761 children in school year 1 were examined from 101 state-maintained schools across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

The pilot ran in early 2013 and aimed to test whether the standardised child measurement programme already in place in Reception Year could be undertaken in year 4 as well.
