Health Equity Wales Approach to Addressing Health Inequity

About this event

This webinar will provide an introduction to the Health Equity Wales programme, which builds on the recommendations made by Professor Sir Michael Marmot and the commitment from Welsh Government for Wales to become a Marmot Nation.

You will hear from Welsh Government colleagues about the aims of the programme to support existing work addressing health inequity across Wales through embedding the Marmot principles and approaches. Leaders from the Institute of Health Equity will share insights gained through working on similar initiatives in England and Scotland and outline the scope of activity within Health Equity Wales. You will also hear from the first Marmot place in Wales about their challenges and successes. There will be opportunities to ask questions and share your views.
