Purpose
The Welsh Government HIV Action Plan for Wales 2023-26 identifies five priority areas for action: prevention, testing, clinical care, living well with HIV and tackling HIV-related stigma and has committed to achieving the UNAIDS HIV 95:95:95 targets.
This report provides information on the epidemiology, prevention and control of HIV in Wales to end of 2024. The report is aimed at policy makers, health service clinicians and planners, commissioners, criminal justice, third sector agencies and academia.
