FOI 966 - Data Breach Compensation

Information Requested:

How much financial compensation have PHW and Welsh health trusts paid out for data breaches since January 2020?
Please break your response down by month, whether the compensation was paid to individuals or companies and whether it related to cyber attacks (including phishing/malware).
What was the highest amount of compensation paid in the last 12 months? Was it paid to an individual or company? What was the nature of the breach?

Information provided for the answer:

Thank you for your request dated 30th August 2022. Public Health Wales NHS Trust has not received any requests for, nor paid any compensation for data breaches since January 2020 to the present day.
