About this event
Public health and environmental health share a common purpose: protecting and improving the health and wellbeing of populations through prevention, early intervention and action on the wider determinants of health. Despite this shared ambition, the two professions can often work alongside each other rather than as integrated partners.
This webinar explores how stronger collaboration between public health and environmental health can enhance population health outcomes and reduce inequalities. Participants will examine the unique strengths that each discipline brings, identify areas of overlapping responsibility and consider how place-based approaches can support joined-up action on issues such as housing, air quality, climate change, food safety and community wellbeing.
